【Support Maui】Donated the amount of $40,224 to the Maui Food Bank

We donated the amount of $40,224, which was raised from everyone during Maui Support Week, to the Maui Food Bank. We visited the Maui Food Bank at the end of October and explained what we did during Support Maui Zetton’s donation week. Additionally, we also learned about the current support for the Lahaina Fire.
We heard that people struggled at the beginning because, despite having enough food from the Food Bank, they could not cook since there were no kitchen facilities at all due to the fire. Currently, they are providing support to hotels and have become three times busier than before the Lahaina Fire.
They provide not only food but also supply items. One of the support programs is ‘BackPack Buddies’ for Maui Kids.
We believe that this donation, even if only a little, will contribute to the recovery of Maui.
